Thank you so much, much appreciated!  I've realized that I have a new fixation for Bachalo/Townsend pages from the Uncanny 350-or-so to 360-something phase.  And this was a scratch to the itch, but it also made more of an itch.  Grrr!

Thank you, I am stoked.  I can't even count up all the time I have sat staring at it!  My all-time favorite period of their work.

Ah, man, sorry about that.  Although, historically, I've said that about your Booth and SPlatt acquisitions many-a-time!  Thanks for the kind words though!  Keep on rockin it!

Great example from an equally great run by Bachalo/Townsend!  I remember flipping thru these books a lot poring over the art.  Awesome that you’ve got so many characters featured in this killer DPS - congrats!

Yeah, that's exactly it!  A few characters "of note" but a bunch of new baddies.  However, it's the poses, the smooth inks, the implied action, textures everywhere, and overall page layout.  Those guys were underappreciated, in my humble opinion.  That was one of my favorite periods of comicdom and what made it all so great.  You also had Thibert on Pacheco around then.  Man-oh-man, comics were truly awesome at that moment, not that they aren't now, but they just seemed so much more...comic-ey!!!

Thank you so much, one CB/TT aficianado to another (at least, I'm working on it).  I went back and re-bought (long story) some of those issues and it brings me back to the "good old days."  Amazing to see the originals versus the published comics, though.  The difference is staggering!

Thank you very much!  When it came up for auction, I realized that they're probably my favorite duo.  Even more than Jim Lee and Scott Williams, which is a given.  They're like the perfect form of cartooning...Like if Disney animation had more detail and all the texturing of Tim's ink.

Thank you!  If it were legal, I'd probably marry this DPS, that's how much I love it!  J/K - But seriously, it's EVERYTHING that I love about Chris/Tim, and probably hearkens back to that time in my life was simpler, no one had Deadpool backpacks, comics were MAGICAL and, and there were only two other comics fans in my whole High School.
