Black Panther by Mark Texeira

A great BP commission by Mark Texeira done when he was a guest at the 2016 Facts festival.

I could not pass on the chance to ask for a Black Panther by the artist who drew the opening arc of the cult Marvel Knight serie written by the great Christopher Priest. In such a short arc, Texeira surely made his Mark (…) on the character for years to come.

Done in pure pencil, size is 11 by 17. It was great to talk with Mark about his career and years in the industry. A very enthusiastic artist and person.

One of the very first (free) sketches I obtained was a BP (and a Vampi and a Wolvie, all present in this very gallery) from Mark at small NYC con in 99 so I feel like the circle is complete with this more elaborate take on the character.
