Captain Marvel by Barry Kitson

I've wanted a Captain Marvel sketch for quite some time.
There have been so many iterations of the character, and I'm not even counting the DC Shazam family !
But I was only interested in one version of the character, the one designed by Don Heck and glorified by Gil Kane. Probably the only Super-Hero to stay dead in the Marvel Universe !

And so here we are, thanks to Barry Kitson, with this gorgeous piece. He graciously even added Rick Jones, former supporting character to Hulk and Captain America, with whom Captain America exchanges places in the Negative Zone, thanks to the Nega Bands.

That's what you love with Barry Kitson, in addition to his beautiful art, his knowledge of comics and will to please. This piece is so much better and tells a much richer story with the inclusion of Rick Jones to the art.

I am so happy with it !
