Description

Dustin was a tough get as he hates sketching at shows. But his list was full and he was super busy all weekend with panels and such. But he respected the mission I was on and agreed to sketch for me really quick if I came back on Saturday, which I clearly did lol. I came to his table many times throughout the day and he was never there, but at one point I was waiting for Simon Bisley to sketch for me and he wouldn't stop talking to others and it was nearing the end of day on Sat, so I just left Simon's line and ran back to Dustin's table and he was there. He quickly took my book and a red pencil and started doing this sketch really quick and a crowd gathered to watch. He'd use the tip, then the flat side of the pencil and finger to shade and do lighting effects. It really was cool to watch and I was so happy with it when he handed it over. He said it was the only sketch at the show as he hates doing them. While he was sketching he was asking me if I liked Wildcats 3.0 and I told him how Rich Friend and I were just discussing how it was good but the main characters weren't in it much and Grifter was never in costume. He laughed and said he kinda felt the same lol. SO it was a great experience with a cool artist.
