DescriptionThe contents of this page were originally published as two pages in Eagle on 16th May 1952.The art mostly by Frank Hampson and the story is written probably by George Beardmore. The 1974 Dan Dare annual featured an abridged version of The Red Moon Mystery. The method of abridgement left something to be desired The two original pages were sliced up into individual panels. Half the panels were discarded. The other half were pasted onto a new board to create a new, abridged page. This page is the remains of the two original pages. Social/Sharing |

Interesting last panel. Looks as though Dan's face was revised with a paste-up that has since fallen away to reveal an uncoloured drawing underneath.
