There are not that many covers by Sal Buscema around, and this has to be one of the best examples . Verpoorten is possibly my favourite inker on Sal. Fantastic!
Michael, ouch. This post hurts pretty bad. I told you to stick to GA art and 1 minute later, but to no avail. Seriously, this is a breathtaking SB Cap cover, one I have been looking for for over 16 years. Sal Buscema is one of the greats, and one of the most prolific Marvel artist of my youth. He drew almost every Marvel comic I enjoyed reading back in 1972-1976, whether it was Captain America, Defenders, Marvel 2in1, Marvel Team-up, etc. I’m sure you will get sick of it sooner or later, so give me a holler please…. Lol. And hurry up because I’m not getting any younger, although I don’t look a day over 35.
