DescriptionThis was such a fantastic cover to adapt, it has a "Midsummer's Night Dream " quality about it. It was perfect for what I wanted to convey.I think every Legion of Superheroes fan dreamed of travelling 1000 years into the future and seeing this magical futuristic world for themselves. So Pete Ross gets to be our eyes and ears. And, the two "flying fish " were once part of a Legion membership drive. Their powers were never revealed. Fans nicknamed them Flotsam and Jetsam. They will pop up from time to time over the course of the story. Joseph Mackie did an AWESOME job, as did my faithful time-travelling companion RussEnjoy Aidan Social/Sharing |

Hey, that's a nice quiet piece. But I'm sure the melee begins with the next chapter.

You nailed it.... Starting in "Chapter 2 " , there will indeed be trials, tribulations and troubles aplenty coming down the track for Pete and his friends.

I love this piece, and the mood it evokes. I was one of those readers who dreamed as a kid of visiting the magical 30th Century of the Legion and this piece takes me back there. Thanks for sharing this!

Flotsam and Jetsam! Now they are rare indeed to see! And they brought a friend! Nice work from Mr. Mackie!

Oh! They will bring a few friends before this over. Mind you, so will Pete Ross... I am having fun covering all the characters from the Legion Universe, even the ones who lurk in the obscurest of corners but you know, exactly how that feels my friend.
