So there's a story here. Pull up a chair and grab some hot cocoa.
As you may have noticed Suicide Squad is my favorite title. Over the coarse of time as a collector I've come to trade emails with Geof fairly frequently. A fellow collector asked me to ask him if the original piece for this was still in his possession and would he be willing to part with it. To my surprise the answer was yes.

I owed this collector a favor or two and wound up buying the piece for him. It caused me a great deal of anxiety but that's how it played out. Geof offered to recreate the piece for me on one large sheet(the original is three taped together), and make improvements on parts he was dissatisfied with.

A few months later here it is and it is GLORIOUS.
The original was published as a fold out poster with Suicide Squad #43. In that issue the Squad is no longer a government entity and is a group for hire, at least to the public. As a result there's a new look and old scores to settle.

This piece commissioned and received in 2018 adn measures 28 3/4 inches x 20 inches

Awesome! I remember this poster well! (Hell, I may still have it in one of my poster boxes.) And kudos to you, sir! You were definitely rewarded for your honor. :) Well done.
