Alex Ross on talent alone is one of the best ever. What sets him apart is his uncanny intuition to draw on past and present moments in comic history to evoke nostalgia. Yes this is a marvelous take on the 1972 John Romita Rockomic poster and album cover. Just a stunning fantastic homage nod to Romita from Ross.
