Description

I've finally set up a design for a different Earth, but still in the same universe.

Earth-27C is the third Earth in Universe-27, and it's controlled by Mordred the Crone. Her's is a horror world, inspired by the likes of:

Higanbana no Saku Yoru Ni
E.C. Comics

The Boys

27C uses the formula of evil heroes and good villains, but the evil heroes don't win like you'd expect in the Crime Syndicate's world. There are two JLA like teams in this world, the Academy of Night and Justice 7. The former is made up of heroic versions of villains like Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn, while the latter is an evil JLA based off the Seven from "The Boys."

Instead of being an evil Bruce Wayne, Midnight Man is Dr. Simon Hurt. All of Justice 7 is based on characters who tried to steal the identities of the JLA at some point.

Simon Hurt was the doctor in charge of Arkham Hospital for Mental Health. He claims it's his duty as Midnight Man to protect and watch over those who would do harm to themselves and others. He's a liar. Hurt is responsible for creating almost all of the so-called "Villains" who are interned in Arkham. Through gaslighting, misdiagnosis, and tampered medication he orchestrated all of their breakdowns into costumed villainy. He's also responsible for the murders they were blamed and punished for that got them sent to Arkham in the first place. He does it both for the glory of being a "Hero" and because beating people up lets him relieve stress.

Dr. Arlene Quinzell found out what he was doing, and he tried to blackmail her with photos of the stripping she did to pay for med school. When Arlene still tried to report him, he strangled her and left her for dead in the old Axis Chemical Plant. Arlene was saved by Spider Lily of the Academy of Night and nursed back to health. Because of the chemicals Arlene ingested plus the herbal treatments Spider Lily administered, Arlene gained super strength and agility and took on the identity of the Crying Girl.

Simon's reign of terror was put to an end when Arlene and Spider Lily confronted the man, and Arlene killed him. After his "Disappearance" evidence of what he was doing to his patients (personal notes, photos, videos) were exposed to the press. Hopefully now that he's gone his victims can receive the treatment they need.

Overall, the design is based on Black Noir from "The Boys," and Yoshihito Kanamori from "Higanbana." The devil mask was an image I found online. Its supposed to have a creepy effect when he appears in total darkness.
