SOLD AT AUCTION FOR $850!

Auction #225 will go online Oct. 23, 2018 and the auction will close Nov. 13-15, 2018. 11x17" DC Comics artboard has David Finch's pen and ink original art for page 15 of "Batman: The Dark Knight" Vol. 2 #5, published by DC March 2012. Finch's art has been inked by Richard Friend and features four panels, showing Superman being punched through cabin wall in first panel only to have his attacker revealed as a Venom-enhanced Batman in second panel. Third panel shows Superman in flight, Batman looking up at him being tackling him from the sky in last panel. Both Superman and Batman each appear in three panels. Top margin has penciled page number. Exc. Great action scene featuring two of DC's most popular characters, rendered by one of their most popular modern artists.
