Description

Original unused cover illustrated by Sal Buscema for Tarzan #16 drawn for the story "Death Rides the Jungle Winds!" This version was not published by Marvel as John Buscema drew the published cover. I wish I had several more "rejected" covers to add to my collection that are as cool as this one!

Logo and artwork is all original from 1978.

January 2024 Update: Joe Jusko confirmed with Bob McLeod that John Buscema provided the rough to Sal Buscema for the artwork for this cover.
