Description

The story is Alex was inspired by a picture of David Bowie in a subway, so he drew from that inspiration and painted this amazing Batman saturated in some amazing blues.

He posted this on Twitter and I immediately reached out. I had to have it.

Given the right character, I think Alex does an amazing job at pieces that are serene in nature.

The size is 13x19 and he used a mix of watercolors, acrylics, and gouache.

Maleev is a master at these pieces showing varying hues of the same color. The light around the eyes really rounds this out as a great piece. Congrats!
