PAINTING

Ink, acrylic and oil on paper.

Painted surface 32.5 x 48.5 cm (12.79 x 19.09 in) in a format of 50 x 70 cm(19.68 x 27.55 in)

Year of realization 2016.

Signed at the botton right side of the piece.

Work done for the third book of Malefic Time trilogy, Akelarre. Published inside the autor's book, page 75. Edited in several languages and distribuited internationally.

"The main cities in Europe had followed in the footsteps of Paris. Neither Moscow, Rome, Barcelona nor Berlin had been able to prevent their inhabitants from leaving the residential areas to take refuge crowded together around the old quarter. Small-scale farming had sprung up in the form of isolated smallholdings in the suburbs. The monasteries, inhabited once again, had recovered customs and traditions from the past. The same as in New York, the people tended to take shelter in communities, although these made Europe look as if it had reverted to medieval times. Fanaticism was rife. In Paris, it was said that there were congregations that opened up tombs to liberate the dead. The apotheosis of the Final Judgement. It was only in big factories and complexes that there were still a handful of groups that carried out experiments and research on the new changes, in the remote hope of finding a scientific explanation and solution for all the chaos."
