Venom by Steve Mannion

A very nice Venom piece by the amazing Steve Mannion.

I’ve admired Steve’s art over the years and I found that his more recent pieces on color paper really reached another level.

So when I saw that one on the Bay, I thought I would try my luck.

Venom is perfect for Steve’s style which I find a bit “distorted” (in a good way) and considering his obvious love for monsters.

I find his head particularly well done here whereas the pose is a bit static.

The piece was done with pencils, ink,colored pencil, and copic markers with white out gel pen highlights.
