Goosebumps The Ghost Next Door 1996 Topps Trading Card Painting

To capitalize on the best-selling book series, a slew of Goosebumps merchandise crept onto store shelves, including trading cards made by the Topps company in 1996.

Accomplished in acrylic on illustration board by artist Walter Velez, this 8" x 10" painting depicts a frightening scene from The Ghost Next Door, when Hannah encounters a shadowy figure who stands in the way of saving her friend Danny from a fiery death, and is the number 29 card in the Topps set ("Mysterious Menace").

Sharp eyes will notice that some slight alterations were made for the printed card, namely the length of Hannah's green shirt.
