Description

This Barry Windsor-Smith page is from Giant Size Rune #1 - Page 8. It was published by Malibu Comics in January 1995. The last page of this backup story completed the origin of "Rune --- The Dark God", just as it also sealed his fate. This story gave readers an understanding of the origin of the mysterious glowing Starstones that Rune wears as a necklace. The page was skillfully crafted edge-to-edge in ink over graphite and blue pencil on bright white 12" x 18" Bristol board.
