DescriptionSOLD FOR $2,180.64!12.25x18-1/8" sheet of textured art paper has Pablo Marcos' pen and ink original art for page 58 of "The Savage Sword Of Conan" #68 magazine, published by Marvel Sept. 1981. Art depicts Conan and scantily clad barbarian woman battling two writhing serpents. Of note, Conan is wielding a battle ax and scimitar. Marcos, noted for his work on Batman and Conan comics during the 1970s, has signed at lower left, adding "81" date. Lower right has red inked "PM #4" notation. Back of sheet has stamped "Sword Conan" title stamp and inked issue/page numbers and aged square of masking tape. Lower right has significant white correctional fluid, but this does not affect published art. Sheet has .25x.75" piece missing out of bottom margin and scattered handling wear. Fine overall, but art remains clean and Exc. and would make for nice framed display. Social/Sharing |
