DescriptionThis is a cool cover recreation that I came across on the JSC Fans FB page. A guy there has been doing large (14x22) recreations of Campbell covers he always loved, and this was one of them. While I do not buy recreations anymore after buying a few years ago, this one made me reconsider. I have been looking for the original art to this piece for years and never seen it and probably couldn't afford it if I did find it anyway these days. So when I saw this, I reached out and bought it.Tim Farnsworth, the artist, does these fully with pencil and ink, so unlike many recreations you see these days there are no bluelines or anything to detract from the piece. He even hand drew the letters and logos. But the image is so large that I couldn't scan it, so I had to use an iPhone pic, so there is a little distortion. Social/Sharing |
