I had a choice between a Sendak drawing or this bronze - I decided to mix things up a bit. One of 63 pieces cast, just a few years before Mr Sendak died. Signed on the reverse.

I can't overstate the importance of Where the Wild Things Are on my childhood. This thing is pretty cool, and weighs an insane amount. Seriously.

VERY COOL! I loved the book as a kid and the Movie was on not to long ago so, Watched the Moview with my two youngest then hunted down a copy of the book so we could read it together. Such a great story and so fun to share with the kids. Magnificent statue thanks for sharing
