Description

Neal was the first comic artist who made me realize it could be art. I've never been able to afford his art besides the odd rough and some Jerry Lewis pages which I should have held onto (or at least the one where they go to Disneyland and there is a balloon of Donald) but when I saw this pop up on ebay I had to go for it. I've always loved his Green Arrow since I fiddled around with archery in my youth (and he added arm guards which you need 'cause if a bowstring hits them it hurtssssss) but I will say this: maybe other blonde's are differeent but my facial hair never looked or behaved like that. He lied to me, but did it so beautifully I guess I'll forgive him. This has a certificate of authencity mailed to the original owner from 2006 but the art is larger so who knows when it was done. It does have a code designation on that so it was a predone sketch/commission. Perhaps he sold it through the mail before he came up with the idea to authenticate pieces. If so I wished I had been checking out his site back then.
