Description

During the "Minds" storyline, Gerhard came up with an insane amount of space-themed all-background pages, something that fit his style perfectly and left me speechless at the amount of work he would put in those planets and starry fields.
One page especially blew me away and stuck to my mind.
Fast forward quite a few years, when I hear Gerhard is starting to sell select pieces of artwork. After seeing the initial offering I get in touch with his rep to ask about THAT page but, alas, it's gone already. I try to go for one of the large planets pages but the whole system is too complicated and I just forget about it.
Fast forward a couple more years and, while checking CAF's art search results, one link pops out in the post, drawing me to click on it and -WHAM!!!- that's THE page!

It took me just a few seconds to come up with something to scrounge up funds and direct'em to Germany, where the page was located and now it's finally in my hands, a most definite keeper!!!

Gerhard work on this page is, well, stellar. The amount of detail is crazy and fills up my crave for starry sky pages 110%. Check out the additional images, they're well worth it.

Thanks Monty, Federico and Steven for getting this in my collection.

11x18" on thick board, the teenie-weenie Cerebus is a stat. All the rest is real ink (none of that marker ****!) and a lot of white paint and splatter).
