As much as I love them, I do not usually commission sketches from artists at conventions (figuring that, when I have the money, I'd rather pick up a page of 'pedigreed' original art). That changed when Mark Bagley came to town. Mark truly made me call into question the wisdom of my previous stance on convention sketches with this piece...

The Thing is one of my all time favorite characters and this sketch is OUTSTANDING. Well done by Mr. Bagley. Congrats!

I'd forgotten how good Bagley's Thing was! I remember being wowed when the Thing was on that cover of the New Warriors - I went and looked it up - #17 with the Thing and Nova and the big guns!
