Description

"It was a dark and stormy night…" and Namor lays defeated at the hands of the Master of the World! Next to Guardian, the Master was my favorite character. It does seem a shame Guardian was no longer among the living to properly become Mr. Fantastic to the Master's Doc Doom.

An astounding Villain Reveal cliffhanger splash! Byrne was a... er... 'Master' of weaving slow-burn anticipation of a villain's plans throughout any given story he might have been writing. This might have been one of his best, ranking up there with Doom's 'Liddleville' reveal in FF236.
