DescriptionJim came back to do a couple covers and issue of Wildcats later in the run and they were awesome pieces. I have never been able to find those but I was able to find these color guides by Joe Chiodo, Jim's '90s colorist. This is the hand painted color guide of Joe's colors over copies of the Jim Lee and Richard Bennett line-work. But this is more than just simply colors over copies as Joe added a bunch of X-acto knife cutout elements to the page to do what he did, so I also added a photo viewed at an angle so those elements shine. It's a pretty cool look at the final art process for a nice Jim Lee cover.Social/Sharing |
