From Heritage: Gene Colan Daredevil #37 Cover Re-Creation Original Art (2001). Celebrated as one of the best Daredevil artists, Colan reconstructs one of his most dynamic covers (the publication dates from 1968). Colan's enhancements include an intensified expression of malicious glee on the steel face of Dr. Doom. The artist has lightened his line-weight somewhat from the 1968 version, lending a greater sense of open-spaciousness. This large-scale mixed-media gem has an image area of 22" x 28" on heavy-duty illustration board. The art is in Very Good condition, with some edge-barking. Social/Sharing |
