Description
This Little Joe Sunday page is from August 25, 1935, and features Joe and Ze General, who was a roguish-but-likable character who appeared in the strip as one of the semi-regular cast. Ze General recounts a battle that he was in to Joe, complete with the ill gotten gains that he wound up with. Leffingwell did a wonderful job of channeling Harold Gray's basic style.
