Description

Stern & Bryne just seemed ideally suited to bring us the best Cap adventures in town, after Lee & Kirby, and I thought the All-Pencils/Shot-from-Pencils issue was just amazing! Raw and vintage work from the swan song issue and retelling of Cap's origin story.

Cap in action just as JB intended, right out of his pencil, not a line lost in translation via the inking process PURE BYRNE and just a killer example! I sound like a broken record... CONGRATS JOE!

Oh, my goodness gracious, yes. That is a gorgeous page and a prime example of not only the clarity and focus of his pencil style, but also the power and efficacy of solid storytelling. Yeah, these Stern/Byrne Captain America stories were extremely special (personal favorites of mine as well). Sincere congratulations - what a beautiful pick up!
