Description

Ibuki Yagami is a teenage student at the high school where Yusaku Godai gets some experience as a student-teacher. Maison Ikkoku is a situation comedy based on the Rumiko Takahashi manga. I read and loved the English language comics published by VIZ, but have seen only a handful of anime episodes. I saw a single original manga page at the Cartoon Art Museum, but these do not become available. So I turn to animation art in these cases.

Rumiko Takahashi wins the Grand Prix at Angoulême! She will preside over the 2020 festival and her originals will be displayed in a museum exhibit. The cartoonist came to SDCC in 1994 and received an Inkpot Award. Comics Beat sums up the work of Rumiko Takahashi available from the publisher VIZin this essay.
