Jeff Matsuda's BUFFY #24 Cover

I've wanted a Dark Horse/"Buffy" cover since the comic series first
came out. I'm delighted to have found this one, the cover to #24.
 
Jeff Matsuda is another comic book artist who left the field
to work in animation and, for a time, video games. By most
accounts, he did well. He even picked up an Emmy along the
way. I still wish he'd stuck with comics.
 
“Buffy the Vampire Slayer” may have been a Dark Horse publication, 
but Matsuda started his career working with Rob Liefeld and Image. 
I wasn't surprised to discover this 11” x 17” cover is drawn on 
Image board. 
 
During Matsuda’s most interesting comic book years, Jon Sibal 
often worked as his inker. They were a solid team.
