Saw this for a while, and finally pulled the trigger. Just a great commission by John, and reminiscent to his Hulk run and reimagined cover to Incredible Hulk #316.

Outstanding Byrne commission! That was a heck of a fight and this commission really captures the spirit of that Hulk issue.. WOW! Congrats!

I remember the comics form the 80s like it was yesterday . Both East and West coast Avengers teams against the Hulk drawn by Byrne . It could very well be some of my fav battle books ever. I remember the Hulk almost kills Namor in the desert ( Namor being my fav ;) ) and saying whoa how the heck does this book end. Well the Hulk eventually gets KOd but ..... what a blast. I’m super jealous of this piece . I want it lol.
