Another nice piece from the little bunch I've recently acquired, featuring various drawings on both sides of the same sheet.
I'm always fascinated by Tim's studies. And even more when they remind me of the Old Masters gesture drawings, as in this case.

The tradition of preliminary drawings and studies goes back a long long way...And I agree with you about how fascinating it gets to delve into the creative process of an artist, especially when it’s an artist of the caliber of Tim Vigil! Congrats!
