�� I met Rick Burchett at the DC booth in San Diego in 1999. I purchased two pages and asked for a Batgirl sketch. Sometime later, I set my sketchbook down and didn't miss it until the Eisner Award ceremony that night. Years later, I get a phone call out of the blue. My sketchbook turned up at an exhibitor's workplace. Thankfully, I wrote my name and phone number on the inside cover. The woman returned it by FedEx. I sent chocolates in return.
