Description

This is the the original art from the 5th Green Berets daily. It was published in September 1965, before the strip began regular syndication. Board size is 22.5 x 7.25 inches with an image area of 16 x 4.5 inches. Everything in front of Tower's face in the first panel was redrawn on a piece of paper glued to the board. Placing the strip on a light box reveals that Tower was originally seated on the opposite side of the aircraft with other passengers and what looks like an in-flight movie visible.
