There are comic stories that stick with you forever. I know we can all name them. For me, Superman vs. Muhammad Ali fits the bill. The book came out in 1978, while I was in high school (a prime time for my comic reading habit). I loved that story, and I still do. I was an Ali fan and a Superman fan and the story by Denny O’Neill emphasized the best of two mythic, superhuman characters. Wonderfully complimented by artwork by Neal Adams and Dick Giordano (backgrounds by Terry Austin), the book’s story and message still holds together today. It’s pure nostalgia, and I was thrilled to grab a couple more pieces of this great story.

I just love this book! There used to be so much more art from this floating around 20-30 years ago. And now it all just seems to have vanished. Should have scooped some up when I had the chance. Gorgeous pages buddy! Congrats!
