Description

This is the Arthur "Art" Adams variant cover to America #2 (Marvel, 2017), part of the first solo series to feature America Chavez, the young woman also known as Marvel's second Miss America and the first hero to use that name since the Golden Age. The cover is a fine portrait of the popular character drawn in Adams' fan-favorite style.

About America Chavez/Miss America
America Chavez first appeared in Vengeance #1 (2011). She is one of the more powerful Marvel characters in terms of strength. America has been a member of the Young Avengers, A-Force and currently the new West Coast Avengers. She is the first Latin LGBTQ character to have her own Marvel title.

About the Artist

Arthur "Art" Adams got his start drawing the mini-series Longshot for Marvel in the mid 1980s. He quickly became a fan favorite and went on to do very popular work on various X-Men related titles. Adams would go on to focus on creator owned material such as Monkeyman and O'Brien, which ran for six years and was published by Dark Horse. Today, Adams is a highly in-demand cover artist.
