Description

The best surprise at Heroes Con this year was meeting 91 year old Hy Fleishman. Hy was a pre-code comic book artist who drew for titles like Dark Mysteries and Mysterious Adventures in the 1950s. Hy and his wife were delightful and he signed prints of some of the comics he worked on. He told me that he only did one job for Stan Lee, but worked primarily for "a man named Davidson, who was an attorney." Never read nothing by Hy Fleishman but loved the picture, he and his wife really seem awesome people to met.
