Wow! Wow! Wow! Wow! Crazy cool painting by Mike Ploog! i love this image of the two prehistoric tribespeople riding a dinosaur-like steed to escape some kind of futuristic space ship! It's kind of amusing that the female warrior is futilely shooting arrows to try to bring down the metallic craft. What a fabulous piece by Ploog! Love the slightly humorous style Ploog used here, it's a very much in keeping with his style! Great pick-up, congrats!

Thanks, Bill! The female is actually a recurring character in some of Mike's illustrations (according to his book, "The Art of Ploog 2".) And it looks like she's down to her last arrow. Futile, indeed!
What amazed me about this piece is that the colors are applied so smoothly, I initially thought it was a print. For someone who became famous for drawing werewolfs and monsters, it made me appreciate Mike's talent even more.
