Description

This is the oldest and possibly the first Brazilian Mad Cover. I believe it was published in 1977 but I can only confirm that the cover says MAD Nostalgia. In the top right hand corner is a green circle that says in Portuguese 25 Anos de Loucura which means 25 Years of Madness. At the bottom of the Magazine it says in Portuguese Ediçao Commorativa do Jubileu de Prada da Loucura which means Silver Jubilee Commemorative Edition of Madness.....I bought this painting from Carlos Chagas, the artist, in 1998 and it has never been offered for sale before.
