Frank Cirocco and Lela Dowling were guests at Steve Wyatt's
South City Comic Con in San Mateo, California. Browsing though Lela's art offerings, I found this Xxxenophile collaboration with Phil Foglio. I bought the first page of the story last year. I bought the second this year. Phil wrote and penciled all the stories and sought out his friends and fellow artists to ink them. Many were working their own independent comics and these were written up each issue. Phil covered many genres, most often science fiction, fantasy, and supernatural themes In the opening page, a unit of hunky male Space Marines relax after a battle while the cyborg Mariko gets a new body. This page reveals Mariko's new metallic humanoid body and she begins to enjoy the new sensations possible.
