I have been a fan of Greg Hildebrandt since I discovered his work in a Pacific Comics or Bud Plant catalog in the early 1980s (Gods and Goddesses Portfolio). I discovered later that I was already a fan of his Star Wars work with his brother Tim: I just did not know their names at the time.

I became an even bigger fan when I discovered his illustrated line of children books published by Unicorn Press.

Greg draws and paints beautiful people, but I especially love his artwork focusing on animals.

Commissioned from Mr. Hildebrandt in 2019 through his wife and agent Jean Scrocco. To say this is a grail for me does not do the term justice. Thanks to both Greg and Jean.

Prisma Color pencil and acrylic paint on blackboard (I first saw two of his blackboard pieces in San Diego in 2009 and wanted one ever since).
