Description

One of several Frazetta Sweet Adeline tryout strips believed to be for Field Syndicate that were never published. I was fortunate to be able to purchase this from one of the old guard in the comics field, Gene Carpenter, who has owned it for ~3 decades, Gene acquired this piece from Jim Scancarelli, who was the artist for the strip Gasoline Alley at the time. Jim indicated that a small group was able to pick out one each from one or two weeks of tryout dailies, long ago. A great acquisition, thanks Gene and enjoy.
Not sure what the photo looks a bit toned, but the piece is very white.
