Dark Mantris from the Aldebaran series by Léo

Léo's Aldebaran series is a French science-fiction comic series written and illustrated by Brazilian author / artist Léo.

I've been somewhat surprised that the series hasn't caught on more in English speaking markets it has some of the most imaginative panels in recent memory along with engaging story lines albeit somewhat juvenile dialog and themes.

Still highly enjoyable and the art left such a strong impression that when I had the chance to acquire two of the seminal panels from the books of the Dark and Light Mantris I had to purchase.
