Description

Along with Adam Hughes and Wally Wood for a specific technical reason..Dave Stevens is an Amazingly subtle brush inker!,and i wanted to pay Homage to a beautiful drawing by him..another technical note:did everyone Know you cant buy Zip' any more..sigh...hand drawn it is.

Also..with thees recreations I trying to dip my toes into doing this on a commission Basis...
I love and have deep respect for every artist I've re rendered so far,my Idea is not to re trace lines...but to enliven them with my ink and brush and past 20+ years of experience,to create a kind of hybrid...the original artist is not overpowered..just a few subtle flicks on my part.
I'm loving this!
