I'd been enjoying Matthew's work and thinking of going on his commission list but I just kept thinking of this piece he posted a year or so ago. It'd stayed in my mind and I assumed he'd no longer have it but decided to ask after it on the off chance and now it's in my collection! When Matthew first posted this one, he said his wife had described it along the lines of 'not sexy' and 'kind of creepy'. Ha, well its not your DC house style Catwoman for sure but none of his characters are. I still want a commission along the way too...

This deeply disturbs me but I am so fascinated by it! Totally unique. Totally Allison vision. Isn't that what art is supposed to do? It makes you feel something, even if sometimes it is creepy. Superior draftsmanship. Congrats!

There's nothing else like this on CAF. Love the shines and shapes throughout the robust figure, and Allison's meticulous inking is mesmerizing. The small slightly ducking head, lowered cat ears, and hidden hands give her a demure appearance here, but I wouldn't want to fight her
