Description

Dated 1964 and attributed to Marie Severin, who would have begun work very shortly before doing this, these were part of a sheet of stamps that never made it past the concept stage. Marvel would later go on to feature stamps in their books. An interesting and very early piece for Marvel's fan-related activities, MMMS, Marvelmania, etc.

These images were cut from a full sheet of stamps, then dolled up with a stat from FF1 and a giant signature by Stan Lee.
