Earth-27B: Mother Earth Design by Danny Flores

I got this as a perk for supporting Joe Glass and Danny Flores's "Acceptable Losses" Kickstarter.

Since it's about a comic featuring a patriotic superhero, I thought of doing something special and commissioned a member of Earth-27B's answer to the Freedom Fighters, the Revolutionaries. They serve as a combo of the Freedom Fighters and the Force of July from "Batman and the Outsiders."

Mother Earth is the leader and the counterpart to both Uncle Sam and Father Time from S.H.A.D.E. since he briefly served as Sam's evil counterpart. I thought it made sense to work in another mythological figure (Father Time, Uncle Sam, Mother Earth) and specified she had to appear indigenous since the Revolutionaries are made up of individuals from marginalized minorities. One of her primary inspirations was Gaia from "Captain Planet."

God Danny's coloring on this one is amazing.
