Art is for page 27 and was inked by Steve Leialoha. Art is from Part 2 of "Star Wars: A New Hope" movie adaptation, and features Luke Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi and C-3PO (as well as R2-D2, who is not seen on this page) leaving Mos Eisley aboard the Millennium Falcon w/Han Solo and Chewbacca. Page features four panels, showing alien patrons on Mos Eisley watching as the Millennium Falcon flies away, only to encounter a trio of Star Destroyers in space. Seeing the dire situation developing, Luke asks "Can't You Outrun Them? I Thought You Said This Thing Was Fast!" as Han and Chewbacca pilot, Ha responding "Watch Your Mouth Kid, Or You'll Find Yourself Floating Home," the scene and dialog being almost identical to their film counterpart. All four panels feature the Millennium Falcon (two exterior shots, two interior cockpit shots) while Han is seen in last two panels. Last panel features great group shot of Chewbacca, Luke, Obi-Wan, C-3PO and Han. Top margin has stamped "Star Wars" title along w/handwritten issue/page numbers. Bottom right margin has page number and continuation paste-over strips. Back has Marvel copyright stamp. Front's top/bottom center margins have aged strips of tape at center and upper right corner has been clipped. Top margin has slight trim (neither affecting art/text in any way). Second panel has some tiny spots of aging, two on Millennium Falcon and one on the surface of Tatooine. Last panel has a pinpoint spot of aging to Luke's sleeve. Corners have thin strips of tape residue to margins but art remains clean and would display Exc. if matted and framed. Classic comic depiction of pivotal film scene.
