DescriptionRight along with "Planetary," at the turn of the century..wow, feels old to write that!....but, this book blew my mind. It showed me so many ways a superhero team could behave and act that I'd never seen before. And, of course, that was true for thousands more readers than myself! I would swear I once read a quote from series writer Warren Ellis where he said, "For 12 issues, Bryan Hitch and I were the Beatles." and I wholly agree. In wanting to capture this time, I sought out a page that showed the grandeur, the scope of the series while also featuring as many main characters as possible. This page fit the bill and along with my "Planetary" page, it's a set I'll keep for always, to remind me when comics took a leap forward.Social/Sharing |
