Description

Doing a little catching up on posting up some art. Behold the final cover from Ian Bertram’s break out series Little Bird. I wanted a great piece from this story so bad. I’m super happy to have this and a great interior from 5. And an interesting page from 1. I love Ian’s art. I really think it was the star of the series. I can’t wait for the next chapter I’ve really been enjoying seeing his teasers. I hope he’s at NYCC again this year, or that he comes to Heroes. I’d really love to meet him!

I think this is probably destined to go on the wall next to my Artist Choice Commission. And hopefully my 2020 AC commission as well!

I’ll try to put up my own pic of the art so it’s zoomable this weekend. For now the Felix Comic Art scan will do.

It's my favourite Little Bird cover too. Look forward to seeing a new 2020 AC - wow. Crossing fingers for you.

Absolutely gorgeous cover to issue #5 of the incredible book, Little Bird. Ian Bertram's art on Little Bird was truly mind-blowing. And this cover is a beautiful tribute to the story, in which the main character is in constant danger being overwhelmed by forces of evil. This image, of a woman's arm reaching up out of the forces pulling it down, feels appropriately symbolic. Like all of Ian Bertram's work, it is beautifully drawn and superbly inked. What a great cover to have in your collection, congrats!
